The Green New Deal is a comprehensive piece of national legislation that aims to address climate change at the scale and scope that science and social justice demand. However, our national government is not very receptive to this plan. Therefore, as part of a national campaign in conjunction with the Sunrise Movement, BHS environmental action club is calling on the town of Brookline to formally support the Green New deal to show our government that climate change matters.
