BHS Environmental Action Club is tackling multiple projects related to composting. After the initial implementation of a composting system in the BHS cafeteria, the club is currently working to expand composting to the Unified Arts building, as well as reaching out to the other elementary schools in the hopes of getting compost systems installed in all Brookline public schools. Within Brookline High's main building, there is also work being done by club members to further study and improve on the existing cafeteria composting system.
